This blog is to keep up with me and my family on our adventures. I hope you enjoy reading as we journey along to where the wind may take us! but i have to warn you i have a touch of dyslexia and I don't have great grammar skills so be warned you will find mistakes probably quite often.
I have had several people tell me I should write a book with all my tales, so I figured a blog will be the next best thing. I have kicked the idea around for a blog for a long time i have a small hobby farm with goats chickens ducks and bees and we try to grow our own food in hopes to add pigs and aquaponics system later. I could never decide what to blog about until finally in may I got a reason to blog.
And that reasons name is Ruckus the bad apple. Ruckus is a camper, he's not your everyday run of the mill modernday box camper. Oh no he is much more than that he's a reissue of the 1961 Shasta Airflyte canned ham campers and only 1941 were made for Shasta's 75th anniversary. So lucky me to be able to get one of these limited editions gems, or so I thought!
I dont want to make huge long post and lose people with miles of text so im breaking up my past few months into a few post. I will give the backstory to our deciding to leave our trusty tent and our handy hammocks behind and moving into a Travel Trailer, buying my camper and then get into our trips and current events...
until then my outdoor wisdom for the day is: Keep it better than you find it!
